CDL is an arts and sciences enrichment organization serving children and teens across the state of Rhode Island. With roots as a traveling arts program, it offers diverse, accessible, hands-on STEAMM learning experiences to equip Rhode Island youth for today’s evolving workforce. With its 20th anniversary approaching, it needed a refreshed look and a new website to better connect with its audience of funders, families, schools, and students.
Over a collaborative four-week sprint with two in-person workshops, we worked with CDL to develop a brand refresh and user-friendly website that positions it for the next stage of growth. The original logo was maintained for brand recognition and heritage, and a new color palette, typography system, and icon style was introduced. Inspired by their two decades of impact, the new visual identity is playful yet professional, enforcing CDL's commitment to a bright future for Rhode Island's youth.
