Giant Shoulders
Giant Shoulders is a brand strategy and design agency that builds captivating brands, cultures, and experiences. Their mission is to use the power of design to disrupt the status quo and accelerate positive change. A few years after launching, they were ready to elevate their brand. The mission-driven agency needed a brand that reflected their powerful mission and the impact they’ve had on their community.
Using STATION’s brand strategy as a jumping-off point, we examined every aspect of the brand and all of its touchpoints. We landed on the idea of "disruption" as the foundation for Giant Shoulders’ visual identity, then explored how that affected images, text, and patterns. This inspired us to develop a bold pattern based on dazzle camouflage–complex patterns of geometric shapes in contrasting colors, interrupting and intersecting each other.
